At Bristol Hills Farm & Stables, we warmly welcome horseback riding students of all skill levels, whether you're a first-timer or an experienced rider looking to advance. Located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of Western New York, near Bristol, Canandaigua, and Victor, our horse boarding facility offers customized horse riding lessons and training programs tailored to your specific needs.
Whether you dream of trail riding, showing, or simply want to expand your horsemanship skills, our experienced Trainer is dedicated to guiding you on your journey. Additionally, if you're seeking a lifelong equine partner, we can assist you in finding the perfect horse.
Horse riding lessons at our Rochester area farm are available for both adults and minors aged 13 and above throughout the year. Contact us today at BristolHillsFarmStables@gmail.com to learn more about our offerings and to schedule a lesson.
We do not offer trail riding to the public. Trail riding can be an element of training services for privately owned horses or a goal for lesson students.
HORSE TRAINING ……………………………………………………………………………….…….…….
Horse owners can take advantage of flexible onsite training services that cater to the individual needs of you and your horse. Sound principles of “natural” horsemanship and classical training are used to build the horse’s confidence and understanding, as well as physical performance. Our horse trainer has experience building a solid foundation in young horses, tuning up those needing a refresher, and advancing more experienced horses in their discipline.
Our trainer is ready to help you improve your relationship with your horse on the ground and in the saddle. Common areas where horse training services are requested are: groundwork, tacking or bridling issues, desensitization to obstacles or other sensory stimuli, trailer loading, trail riding exposure, and overall confidence building. Assistance is also available to those pursuing competition or interested in traveling with a horse (i.e. overnight camping and trail riding, group riding events, clinics, etc.).
Start your equestrian adventure with us by sending an email or reaching out to us for further information.
